We at Aastrika believe that midwifery is critical to resolving the dual challenge. Across our initiatives, we are directing our efforts and resources toward establishing professional midwives as an essential cadre in India. Our goal is to ensure that midwifery becomes mainstream and that every woman has the option of receiving midwifery care, the knowledge to make that decision, and the agency to make that decision for herself.
