In the early 2000s, a young man with a big dream ventured out of West Bengal, the state where he was born. He moved to India’s commercial capital and the city of million dreams, Mumbai, with an aspiration to carve a niche for himself and make it big in it. In 2006, the interior design of a duplex flat in Navi Mumbai belonging to a close acquaintance opened his eyes to exciting possibilities. He observed sheer negligence on the part of the contractor who oversaw the project and his team. As feared, the work was sloppy and the outcome was abysmal!
