The Khaitan family traces its roots to Ramgarh village in Rajasthan and has a long-standing legacy of excellence in education, leadership, and public service. Our forefathers were among the first members of the Marwari community to complete Matriculation in the 1800s, setting a strong foundation for generations that followed. Among the distinguished figures in the family were Shri Kali Prasad Khaitan, the first Marwari Barrister and former Advocate General of West Bengal, and Shri Devi Prasad Khaitan, a respected member of the Drafting Committee of the Constitution of India led by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
Inspired by this rich legacy, The Khaitan School was established in 1995 with a vision to provide high-quality, holistic education that nurtures knowledge, character, and leadership. Over the years, the school has grown into a vibrant learning community with more than 3,800 students, over 250 dedicated staff members, and a strong alumni network of more than 11,000 members.
The Khaitan School continues to uphold the founders’ vision by fostering academic excellence, creativity, values, and all-round development, preparing students to become responsible global citizens and future leaders.
